Accessibility Statement

Sushrutha Group of Institutions wants everyone to be able to use sushrutha.edu.in, including people who use a screen reader, a keyboard instead of a mouse, or larger text.

What we have done

• Every page states its language, so screen readers pronounce the text correctly.
• Every page has a “Skip to main content” link for keyboard users. Press the Tab key once after the page opens to reach it.
• The main content of each page is marked, so assistive software can jump to it.
• Menu buttons, close buttons and the fields of the enquiry forms have names that a screen reader can read out.
• Pages can be zoomed and work on phones, tablets and computers.
• Text is real text, not pictures of text, and the same two typefaces are used across the site.

Known limitations

• Many documents on this website (circulars, attendance sheets, results and permission letters) are scanned PDF files. Screen readers may not be able to read them.
• Some photographs, especially in older gallery and event pages, do not have a text description.
• On some pages the headings do not follow a strict order.
• This website has not had a formal accessibility audit against the WCAG guidelines.
